There are between 10000 and 20000 foxes left in the wild.  This means that these animals are endangered.  There is so many more interesting things about these creatures.  This information report is going to give facts about foxes and what they eat, what they look like and where they live.


Have you ever wondered what foxes eat? Well I'm going to tell you they are expert hunters so they hunt and eat rabbits, birds, rodents, frogs and also earthworms they also eat carbon but they aren't carnivorous they are actually omnivores they dine on berries and fruit too.


Have you ever wondered what a fox looks like because I'm going to tell you that red foxes have long snouts and red fur across their face, back, sides, and tail. Their throat, chin and belly are greyish white.  Also they have black feet black tipped ears that are large and pointy.  One of the most noticeable characteristics of the red fox is the fluffy white tipped tail.



Have you ever wondered where foxes live? Well i'm going to tell you.  Foxes usually live in forests they can also be found in mountains, grasslands and deserts they make there homes by digging burrows in the ground the burrows are also called dens, they provide shelter and a cool area to sleep.  A safe location for storing food and a safe place to have there pups.
